Whitefish Mountain, Montana

Join us as we plan our annual western trip this year to Whitefish Mountain, in Whitefish Montana. Whitefish Mt boasts 11 chairlifts and a peak elevation just over 6,800 feet so no worries about high altitude. A total vertical drop of 2400 offers slopes for all ability levels. With over 300 inches of snow annually and 3000 acres of skiing this is a trip you do not want to miss!

Our trip dates are Sunday Feb 2-Saturday Feb 8, 2025 so our five days of skiing are midweek with no crowds! We’ll fly on United air out of Madison thru Denver to Kalsipell, MT leaving at 8:29 a.m. and arriving at 1:32 p.m. Our return flight Saturday leaves at 6:32 a.m. and gets back at 2:13 p.m.

Lodging will be at the Hampton Inn in Whitefish and we’ll use their airport shuttle. Transport to the ski mountain will be via the SNOW bus which runs every hour and 15 minutes from Whitefish to the Mt and back. This is not a ski in ski out accommodation but is near the downtown of Whitefish and does have a hot tub and swimming pool.

Trip Cost:

• Trip cost for a double shared room and air is $1,050/pp (now $1,150 as of 8/22/24)
• A single room and air is $1,500 /pp (now $1,600 as of 8/22/2024)
• Note this does not include lift tickets.

Lift Tickets:

Ski lift tickets are not included in the pricing as not all daily lift tickets have been priced fo the winter. Super Seniors age 70+ will buy a season pass which costs $169. This offers a discount on food and lessons as well as rental so is the best way to go. Ages 65-69 last year were $75/day and adults age 64 and under were $100/day. There is a discount when buying tickets for multiple days.
